Im Schatten des Atompilzes Illustration series

A series of five illustrations created for the 2025 publication Im Schatten des Atompilzes. I was deeply affected by the story of the Marshall Islands and their lost history, heritage, language, and traditions following nuclear weapons testing. Each image represents an aspect of Marshallese cultural heritage, slowly distorted and disappearing under the effects of radiation.
